The SB200-001 can be used as a slave sensor in Energy Management Systems like the SK200-001 and SK200-002. It can also be used as the main occupancy sensor for PECO thermostats that have setback capability and occupancy sensing inputs (Performance Pro Models, TA180, TB180, TB170, T155, T158).

Motion Sensor : The SB200-001 is an occupancy sensor designed for automatic HVAC system control. This sensor provides changeover relay signal output for a PECO thermostat to activate/deactivate an HVAC system. This sensor can be wall or corner mounted with 110 degree, 50 ft (15m) detection range.

So, how does this work?

If the room is vacant, the system will be in Standby Mode. The HVAC system does not operate in this mode.
If a sensor detects movement during Standby Mode, it will enter into Relay-ON Delay Mode. In Relay-ON Delay Mode. In this mode, the system is given a time period for the sensor to verify true occupancy before activating the relay output. Any further detection during ON delay will NOT reset the timer.
When the Relay-ON Delay expires, a 1 minute waiting period begins. If no detection occurs within the 1 minute, the sensor will return to Standby Mode. If any detection occurs, then relay output will be activated and Relay-OFF Delay will begin.
Relay-OFF Delay is the time of relay activating. Every detection during this period will reset the timer and keep the HVAC unit in operation.
